► Homestay - your Kiwi home away from home
· You have your own bedroom with adequate furniture, lighting and heater.
· The host family provides you 3 meals every day, power, local phone calls and laundry on a weekly basis.
· You will get the most cost effective chance to hear and speak everyday English with host family members. Your English language proficiency improves more quickly. Students who live in a 2WAYS homestay are more likely to succeed in their study.

All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected by 2WAYS, so we make sure they will provide you with a warm, welcoming and caring home. ► Self-contained Apartment - your convenient base for city life
· We can arrange for you one, two or three bedroom modern apartments with shared a kitchen area, bathroom and laundry facilities or a studio apartment with your own cooking facilities and bathroom
· This is the ideal option if you want to a high degree of independence and freedom
· These facilities are fully furnished and are cleaned once a week (fresh linen provided)
· Conveniently located close to the CBD, schools, shopping centre or major tourist attractions
► B&B or Guest House - your comfortable stopover
· The traditional hospitality of a Bed and Breakfast offers both a welcoming place to rest your head and the chance to meet real New Zealanders.
· Many are located in comfortable, beautifully restored older buildings.
· Rooms vary from one or two through to a dozen or more.
· Some are located near a wide range of activities and attractions, while others are secluded in beautiful, out-of-the-way spots where you can just relax and feel at home.
· These places have the personal touch provided by their owners and a friendly atmosphere.
► Residence House / Flat / Unit - go flatting with flatmates
· You have more independence, freedom, and more responsibility as well.
· “Go flatting” is only for people aged 18 and over to share a house or unit with one or more people - kiwi or students of different nationalities – then you must speak English.
· You are required to share the cost of power, telephone, internet and food in addition to the cost of renting the room.
· Flatmates normally take turns to share duties such as cooking, cleaning or gardening.
· Most rental flats do not have furniture apart from an oven, a laundry, curtains and carpet – you need to arrange your own necessary furniture and appliances.
· A bond payment of up to 4 weeks rent is paid in advance to the Tenancy Services – this is refunded at the end of the rental period if the flat is still in good condition.
· It’s good for a long term stay - minimum 12 weeks.
► Holiday Parks / Camping Grounds - your home of ‘back to nature’
· Most campsites / holiday parks offer both non-powered and powered sites for motorhome and campervan at a minimal cost.
· Easy access to shared kitchens, shower and laundry facilities, barbecue facilities and play areas
· Most campsites are located within an attractive landscaped setting (often beside a beach or lake)
· Many parks also have motel units and backpackers' lodges which have self-contained kitchen and bathroom facilities.
· On board toilets can only be legally emptied from motorhomes into Dump Stations, which are normally found in holiday parks.
· The campsites provided by Department of Conservation (DoC) are usually quite basic, offering 'back to nature' style accommodation and facilities.
· Considering safety and the impact of freedom camping on the environment, freedom camping is not recommended in
